        Poem written for the March:
        Again, Never Again

                                                       by Colleen Kelly
        Robb Elementary
Perfect name, robbed of our future
               Robbed of their laughter
Robbed of their sweetness, their gifts
               These all are past.

        What might have been
               Replaced by grim reality
Small coffins, crosses on the green
Join the toll of youth disturbed
               Destroyed. Full face, the shooter
               Wipes away life’s joy.

Once again, endlessly we ask, why?
The answers never ever bring resolve
And once again a nation lays its flowers
Before a memory, but soon forgets
And never ever so it seems

        Remembers. Mourns,
Then moves on. Photo by Carol Linscott
               Leaders fail to lead
               Protectors miss an opportunity.
Never ever will their laughs again be heard
               Robbed once again.
               The illness is collective
               The lack of unrestricted love

        Again, never ever, once again.
