P. 32
2022 Proposed Amendments Mar/Apr 2022 | Vol. 79 No. 2
Section B. Society Business
4. The Editorial Board shall
a. consist of four (4) appointed
members, the editor, and the
assigned professional staff, ex
officio, with vote;
b. be appointed by the
international president
upon recommendation of
the assigned professional
staff and the editor;
c. work with the editor and be
responsible for selecting man-
uscripts, developing editorial
policy, selecting style guide-
lines, and establishing themes
for The Delta Kappa Gamma
Bulletin in collaboration with
the Communications and
Marketing Committee; and
d. uphold standards of high
quality in evaluating manu-
scripts for The Delta Kappa
Gamma Bulletin.
Rationale: Article XII delineates Publications. Section C.5 describes the board and not the publications. Thus Section C.5 rightfully
belongs with description of other committees. The benefit is clarity. Fiscal Impact: None. Submitted by: Judith R. Merz, editor, on
behalf of the Editorial Board. Administrative Board Recommendation: to adopt.
