or project; 43 respondents were willing to be quoted in this article. In response to the
            opportunity for additional comments, 42 respondents shared thoughts and concerns.
            Best practices, whether current or potential, fell into five categories: finances, school
            or district leadership, support for veteran and early-career teachers and school staff,
            mentorship  of  new  teachers,  and  teacher  recruitment.  For  current  best  practices,
            more respondents indicated involvement at the chapter rather than state organization
            level and at the local school/educational system rather than at local, state, or federal
            government levels (see Figure 1 for current levels of involvement). When respondents
            described potential best practices, every level of involvement increased except for
            that of the chapter (see Figure 2 for potential levels of involvement).
