Leadership Discovery Centre:
A World of Opportunity

Have you wanted a good source for current leadership research, ideas on a variety of leadership topics,
easy access to training, and information to help you with a DKG leadership role? OR do you want to use
a trusted site for leadership training and to prepare you for your next step?
As DKG International changes from the old website to the new design, the Society is phasing out
the old Leadership Lab segment and bringing in a fresh start: the Leadership Discovery Centre: A World
of Opportunity. With leadership from then-president Becky Sadowski, the 2020–2022 Administrative
Board approved this new concept, and, in 2022, current president Dr. Debbie LeBlanc appointed the Ad
Hoc Leadership Discovery Centre Committee to build the model and launch the content. LeBlanc wants
this new segment of the website to be relevant and current as it provides a wide array of support for all
members as leaders.
What is “leadership”? There are an infinite number of definitions for the term—but rather than
attempt to define leadership, the goal of the Leadership Discovery Centre: A World of Opportunity is
to provide resources and tools to embolden individuals to seek and define personal leadership style.
Individuals will then be able to seize opportunities to lead more readily and more often.
The resources included in this evolving segment of the DKG website will include tools developed
