            within DKG, generally by key committees, to further members’ leadership skills, as well as universal
            leadership tools and programs that DKG recommends—such as those provided by keynote speakers
            at international conventions. Additional “discovery” will be provided through materials submitted by
            members with expertise to share in a process currently being developed by the Ad Hoc Leadership
            Discovery Centre Committee.
               Topics for inclusion in the Centre might include
                 • understanding various leadership styles and how to grow your style;
                 • dealing with criticism and conveying kindness;
                 • honing communication and presentation skills;
                 • becoming a classroom teacher-leader and leading other leaders;
                 • learning about inspiring leaders to inspire other leaders;
                 • sounding like a leader and developing other “soft” skills;
                 • leading effective meetings using parliamentary procedures;
                 • using strategic planning after an analysis of data;
                 • conducting challenging conversations;
                 • and more… the sky is the limit!
               As noted, members will be able to submit original leadership materials that they would like to be
            considered for inclusion in the Centre—written
            pieces, PowerPoints, videos, and the like. Such
            submissions will go through a process of blind
            scoring for accuracy, relevance, originality, and
            presentation quality. The appointed committee
            will also work collaboratively with the author(s)
            to ensure the site has varied topics and unique
            leadership perspectives—in a process similar to
            that used by the DKG editorial board. Guidelines
            regarding copyright issues as well as information
            on the submission process, the scoring guide,
            and the windows for submission will be
            available on the DKG website soon. Entries will
            be submitted to leadershipcentre@dkg.org.
               Look for more information in upcoming
