         Holden Fund Committee: Supporting

         DKG's 10th LATAM Conference

KG’s 10th Latin America (LATAM) Conference in Puebla, Mexico—Rebuilding Ourselves as Education
DLeaders: Personal Strengths—was partially sponsored by the Eunah Temple Holden Leadership Fund.
Held in a place renowned for its rich history and vibrant culture, the conference proved to be a momentous event

for educators and professionals across Latin America.
As the region’s leading platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, this conference was very well
organized by Puebla DKG members and served as a great opportunity to learn from others, learn with others, and
learn about DKG Latin America, as the Latin American Representative, Dr. Alejandrina Mata Segreda, expressed
during the event. The conference served as an instrument to share educational strengths and learn about
cultural similarities and diversities. The Eunah Temple Holden Leadership Fund’s support played a vital role in
ensuring the conference’s success by facilitating virtual access. This virtual access enabled a global audience
to participate, learn, and contribute to the conference’s sense of unity.
The ultimate goal of the DKG Latin America Conference was to create a network of professionals committed

to driving educational excellence in Latin
America. The conference did just that by uniting
members from Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica,
Panama, and Puerto Rico, as well as guests from
        the United States.
One of the key purposes of the Eunah
Temple Holden Leadership Fund is to support

speakers at DKG’s conferences and events
around the world. Their sponsorship of the
DKG Latin American Conference in Puebla not
only impacted those present, but it also laid the
foundation to exercise educational leadership in
Latin America by enabling a global connection
of ideas. The historical city center of Puebla, Mexico
