Legacy and Future of DKG

KG will celebrate 100 influential years in 2029. Members can help to celebrate and contribute to DKG’s

Dpowerful future by participating in the following upcoming Centennial Celebration initiatives.

Support a U.S. Commemorative Postage Stamp Honoring Dr. Annie
Webb Blanton

The Centennial Committee submitted a request for consideration of a commemorative U.S. postal stamp
for Dr. Annie Webb Blanton. To support this request, members can access a ready-to-use template for writing to
their Legislators under the Centennial Banner on dkg.org.

Contribute $19.29 on the 11 of Every Month

Contribute $19.29 to the Centennial Celebration Campaign Fund on the 11 of every month to commemorate

DKG’s founding on May 11, 1929. This fund will be used to make the 2029 Conference in Austin, TX a blast!
A downloadable postcard is also available for members to send to someone they want to honor with their

contributions.

Spread the Word

The Centennial Committee encourages members to download and share the Centennial Brochure from dkg.
org with their chapter and state organization to help build awareness and excitement.

Inspire with DKG History
Members can find downloadable Decade Videos under the Centennial Banner at dkg.org. The Centennial
Committee encourages members to utilize these as an engaging chapter program to generate excitement for
the Centennial celebration.
State organizations and chapters should use this opportunity to launch the momentum for a robust
#SecondCenturyDKG and beyond!
