Learning Environment
Three survey questions delved into teachers’ perceptions of the learning
environment. The first question asked, “Which learning environment is the most
effective approach?” (Table 3). Regarding student-centered teaching practices
being the most effective approach, 13.33% disagreed, 26.67% neither agreed nor
disagreed, and 60.00% agreed. Conversely, 13.33% agreed, 26.67% neither agreed
nor disagreed, and 60.00% disagreed with the idea of teacher-centered teaching
practices being the most effective approach. This illustrates most teachers perceived
student-centered teaching practices as the most effective. Interestingly, 70.59%
agreed to a mix of teacher and student-centered teaching practices being the most
effective approach.

Centered Learning Environments
The next question pertaining to the learning environment asked, “How often do
you implement the following approaches?” While 29.41% implemented student-
centered teaching practices most of the time, 70.59% implemented student-centered
teaching practices about half of the time. In terms of teacher-centered teaching
practices, 18.75% responded they implemented such practices “rarely” and 6.25%
responded they did so “most of the time.” As with student-centered teaching
