Award recommendations This year, I am excited to share the launch of the new
Membership Journey Map, a strategic project aimed at enhancing

the membership experience. This comprehensive map identifies
key touchpoints along a member’s journey with DKG, from initial
awareness and consideration to onboarding, engagement, and
becoming an ambassador. Key features include:
• Awareness and Consideration: Focused efforts on social
media, educational events, and word-of-mouth to introduce
prospective members to DKG’s mission and values.
• Onboarding: Comprehensive welcome packages, mentor-
ship programs, and regular introductory events to help

new members feel supported and engaged from the start.
• Engagement: Continuous learning opportunities,
HQ CLOSED professional development, and vibrant online communities

January 20 to foster connection and collaboration.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day • Ambassadorship: Recognition of contributions and
(U.S.) achievements, leadership opportunities, and incentives
February 17 for members who help expand our reach.
President’s Day The Membership Journey Map embodies our commitment to
(U.S.) providing a seamless and enriching experience for all members,
ensuring that each individual feels valued and empowered to
contribute to DKG’s mission. You can read the full Membership
