The Bigger Picture
Canadian provinces will have a large
representation of leading women participating in
this event, but the conference will unite women
educators from all age groups and from inside and
outside of Canada in the kind of genuine spiritual
fellowship that is part of the Society’s Purposes.
This conference will be a platform to connect
with like-minded professionals, and participation
can lead to valuable professional relationships
and mentorship opportunities. Attendees will
leave with new competencies that can be directly
applied to their educational contexts and extend
their learning beyond formal sessions to informal
interactions. Discussions with other attendees
will provide diverse perspectives and problem-
solving approaches. This collective wisdom is a
unique benefit of belonging to an international
organization and attending a conference such as
this one. In addition, hearing from successful
women is incredibly inspiring, because their
stories of overcoming challenges and achieving
success can provide motivation and be powerful
catalysts for the professional and personal growth
that are part of DKG’s Mission. Moreover, this
conference will address work-life balance and Camaraderie © Craft by Michele Cox, Texas;

self-care. Learning how to manage personal and
professional responsibilities effectively will be a
key takeaway.
In general, “Unite, Uplift, and Inspire”—the Canadian Forum Conference for DKG Leading Women
Educators—will promote excellence in education through careful attention to the skills, abilities,
professional development, and leadership that are relevant to our times. Organizers’ fullest intentions are
to advance the professional interest and position of women educators by encouraging their participation in
DKG International and innovations in the world of education.
Plan now to attend the Canadian Forum Conference to be held July 10–13, 2025, in Brandon, Manitoba.
Manitoba is the province in the middle of Canada— a central location for travel from the east and west and
from the States that border Canada. Join DKG members from Canada and beyond to be united, uplifted,
and inspired!
