Promoting DKG’s Face to the
Profession: The Bulletin Editorial
Board
Among the many benefits of membership in Delta Kappa Gamma are its publications provided under the
global title of The Delta Kappa Gamma Bulletin. In two formats—International Journal for Professional
Educators and Collegial Exchange magazine—the Bulletin provides avenues for members to promote
their professional and personal growth by publishing and to pursue excellence in education through their
research, writing, reading, and sharing. Importantly, as an open-access publication available to educators
and others worldwide on the Internet, the Bulletin is DKG’s “face to the world.” Ensuring the quality that
garners respect for the Society falls to its editorial board, charged with peer review of submissions and
development of each of five issues annually.
Members of the editorial board are appointed by the international president to overlapping 4-year
terms and are selected based on current active membership in the Society, academic excellence, and prior
experience with the writing process. Geographical representation is not required. Board members are
peers of the key women educators in DKG—but also peers to educators throughout the world in their
grasp of key educational issues, research, and reflection.
