1. Logistics
e. Each state organization
hosting an international con-
vention shall receive funds
from International to offset
expenses accrued by the host
for state organization night.
Additional funds shall be
advanced to the convention
steering committee, main-
tained in a special convention
account, and disbursed only
for authorized expenses.
Any funds remaining in the
convention account shall be
returned to the international
Available Fund.
Rationale: The Society has the responsibility of business and financial operations of international conventions and internation-
al conferences. International will maintain the financial records of international events, which are audited annually with Society
Available Funds. Fiscal Impact: This will save state organizations from having to raise funds for state night activities. Submitted
by: Dr. Margie Nowak, chair, on behalf of the International Finance Committee, and Janis Barr and Candi Martin, on behalf of the
Administrative Board. Administrative Board Recommendation: to adopt.

convention or international
conference, the records of the
treasurer shall be submitted
for financial review as deter-
mined by the Administrative
Board. The records, receipts,
and fund balances from each
international convention and in-
ternational conference shall be
sent to Society Headquarters.
