        UPDATE: LATIN AMERICA

he year 2025 is a crucial period in contemporary history, characterized by a series of opportunities and
Tchallenges that will define the course of our collective future. It is also the eve of DKG’s centenary. With
this in mind, Latin America is commemorating our own important anniversaries, namely: 50 years in Guatemala,

45 years in Costa Rica, 25 years in Puebla, and last year’s 45th anniversary of Nuevo León.
These anniversaries come with great enthusiasm and participation from the members to continue working
for the benefit of their state organizations and thus contribute their grain of sand to the growth of the Society
at the international level. The commitment of the Latin members is reflected in each of the actions carried
out in every one of the state organization and chapter meetings, conventions, gatherings, soirées, support
efforts, community outreach activities, and grand celebrations. Each gathering commemorates those founding
members of the Society and serves to frame their ideas and values in the context of each of the different state
        organizations of Latin America.
With these gatherings, we endeavor to honor the legacy of members who, with their great effort and affection,

opened the doors to the gifts that DKG Society International has for every one of us. Because of their efforts,
there is hope within all the women leaders of the countries that make up the Latin American region. I would like
to take this moment to recognize the hard work of the founding members who are no longer with us, but whose
profound love for their profession made them stand out as true leaders in their regions and state organizations.
Women leaders planted a valuable seed called DKG in Latin America. As we honor their past accomplishments,
we look forward to continuing to share this project with the world.
These anniversary celebrations will take place throughout the year, but our grand celebration will be at the

2025 DKG Latin American Forum Conference in Monterrey, Nuevo León from October 27–29, 2025. We sincerely
hope you join us, the Latin members, at these celebrations. All members from across the globe are cordially
        invited to attend!
                                                                                                 Vianney Campos
