Arts & Humanities Jury
Expanding Opportunities for
Members to Participate in the
DKG Art Gallery
The Arts and Humanities Jury continues
to explore ways to help member artists
successfully submit their creative
works to the online DKG International
Art Gallery. The Jury is excited to
offer new resources to guide members
during the January 15 to February
15 and September 15 to August 15
submission periods that occur annually.
The first new resource is called
the Do’s and Don’ts for Submitting. It
explains common reasons submissions
are not accepted. Tips for writers are
intended to help writers. Examples
of what to do and not to do when
photographing art are provided so a
submission is gallery ready and does
not need to be edited for posting.
Another new resource to help
with the submission process is a
recorded webinar titled How to
Complete the Google Form for Art
Submission. This video shows a
demonstration of completing the
online submission form. Viewers can
see how to answer questions, name
attachments, and upload the form and
attachments. Questions from artists
who attended the live webinar are

León; Fall 2021 Art The newest category for the gallery is multimedia. This category combines
Gallery two or more different categories. For example, many artists have been combining
writing with original photography. Some of these entries express cultural art
themes, and some are shown with this article. The jury is excited to see music, art,
drama, writing, photography, and performances expressing feelings and thoughts
