                              2025 Submissions



                                   he DKG Educators Book Award Committee is excited to announce that it is now
                              Tinviting submissions for the prestigious 2025 Educators Book Award. This award
                              aims to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of education through literature.
                              Interested authors and publishers are encouraged to submit their works by the deadline
                              of February 1, 2025.
                                 For those seeking further information or assistance regarding the submission process,

        Major Actions of the Administrative Board

        August–November 2024


        August 22-23, 2024 – Marriott Courtyard (Pflugerville Conference Center), Austin, TX
        The 2024–2026 International Administrative Board took the following major actions during its August 2024

        meeting:
            1.  Committee Reporting: Determined that the reporting on the use of the Focus Objectives and SMART
               Goals will be the responsibility of the committee liaisons, rather than the committees themselves, as the
               reporting process during the last biennium was time-consuming for the committees.
            2.  President  Dr.  Beverly Hall-Maughan  appointed  members  to serve on the  special and Administrative
               Board appointments:
               a.  Strategic Planning: Marie-Antoinette Hubers de Wolf, chair; Dr. Debbie LeBlanc; and Eileen Little
               b.  Performance Appraisal Team: Dr. Debbie LeBlanc, chair; Carol Herzog; and Dr. Beverly Hall-Maughan
               c.  Revitalization  Team:  Becky Sadowski, past international  president,  chair; Evelyn Barron, past

                   international president; Ingibjorg Jonasdottir, Iceland; Carolyn Pittman, past international president;
                   Connie Rensink, Leadership Development  Committee Chair; Dr. Lyn Schmid,  past international
                   president; Aurora Vignau, Holden Fund Committee Chair; and Joan Wolfe, Ontario.
            3.  HQ staff committee liaison assignments were approved:
               a.  Executive  Director, Lucinda Hart,  CAE, MBA:  Administrative Board; DKG International  Educators
                   Foundation Board of Directors; Avenue M Task Force; Non-dues Revenue; DKG Revision Task Force;
                   Centennial Celebration.

               b.  Membership Director, Sy Franco Stern: Membership & Expansion; Educational Excellence; Leadership
                   Development (with Golden Gift Fund); Communications & Marketing; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and
                   Accessibility (DEIA) Task Force.
               c.  Finance Director, Peggy Jonas: Finance; International Speakers Fund; Scholarship; Holden Fund
               d.  Technology  Director,  Victor  Trisnadi: Leadership  Discovery Centre;  World  Fellowship; Non-dues
