         The 2024–2026 Constitution Committee

         Begins Biennium Work

he 2024–2026 biennium is underway, bringing many exciting developments within the Society, especially
Twithin the Constitution Committee. At a meeting in early October 2024, the committee reviewed their biennial
responsibilities, working together to outline tasks and deadlines. The members also worked on reviewing and
revising numerous documents, offering suggestions and insight to help create final versions for use throughout
the Society. The documents included a process for the implementation of adopted amendments from the 2024
International Convention in National Harbor, Maryland, into the Constitution and International Standing Rules.

Following approval from the Constitution Committee members, documents have been updated and are available
        on DKG.org > Publications & Documents > Constitution & ISR.
The Constitution Committee is updating the DKG Society Handbook, as well as reviewing governing
documents from state organizations. Newly added this biennium, state organization leaders will be able to
submit their state organization documents via the DKG website. To do this, visit DKG.org and nagivate to MyDKG
        > Apply/Submit > State Organization (SO) Bylaws/Governing Docs Submission Form & Checklist, or follow this
        link: https://forms.gle/kQL2QRKeC72q4inP8.

As the Constitution Committee shifts their focus to revision and organization this biennium, they will no
longer be featured in Town Halls, as there are no proposed amendments to discuss. Instead, the Constitution
Committee will be collaborating closely with the 2024–2026 DKG Revision Task Force to assist in the revision
        of DKG’s governing documents.
