TECH CORNER: GETTING PUBLISHED WITH DKG
KG offers three incredible avenues, both online and in print, for members to share their knowledge, talents,
Dexperiences, and research. The DKG Bulletin, the Arts & Humanities Gallery, and the newly introduced
Leadership Discovery Centre each offer unique opportunities for members.
The Leadership Discovery Centre
At the 2024 International Convention, The Leadership Discovery Centre became a formally established
committee after a soft launch in late 2022. The Centre, as it’s also known, is designed as an all-encompassing
leadership resource. Members are encouraged to submit a wide variety of “leadership media,” including (but not
limited to) PowerPoint presentations, informational videos, informative or academic articles of interest, book
reviews, and training plans that explore leadership topics.
Housed under its own tab on dkg.org, members are encouraged to explore the materials already available on
The Leadership Discovery Centre. Members can submit their own materials by signing in to dkg.org and heading
to Leadership Discovery Centre > Submit Here. Please review the Submission Guidelines before filling out the
Electronic Cover Sheet and submitting your materials to leadershipcentre@dkg.org. The Centre also accepts
submissions for upcoming virtual webinars, workshops, seminars, panel discussions, programs, or other virtual
activities.
The DKG Art Gallery
The Arts & Humanities Gallery, also known as the DKG Arts Gallery, allows talented members to share their
visual and poetic art. The Arts Gallery, which was established in 2010, accepts visual media, videos, creative
writing and poetry, and music. Visual works featured on the DKG Arts Gallery are also occasionally published
alongside member articles in the DKG Bulletin: Collegial Exchange.
Members can easily access the DKG Arts Gallery on dkg.org by selecting the palette icon on the green
search bar (pictured below) or by going to https://gallery.dkg.org/. From the Arts Gallery page, members can
also submit their work, learn more about how to submit, or learn what kind of submissions are accepted and
considered. Submissions are accepted in the following submission windows:
Spring Gallery — January 1 – February 15
Fall Gallery — August 15 – September 15
